Step-by-Step Guide

Visit the ALiS Login Page
Access the Texas FSC licensing portal

Open the ALiS portal in your browser and log in with your existing username and password.

Note: Don't have an account yet? See Step 2 to create one before continuing.

Create an Account (if needed)
Skip this step if you already have an ALiS account

If you do not yet have an ALiS account, follow the link below to register as an individual user.

Already have an account? You can skip this step and move on to Step 3.

Select "Apply for Exam"
Locate the option in the left-hand navigation menu

Once logged in, look to the left-hand navigation menu and select Apply for Exam.

Then click Next to proceed to the contact information screen.

Enter Contact & Date of Birth
Fill in your personal contact information

On this screen, enter your contact information and date of birth as requested.

Then enter the university or laboratory address information in the fields provided.

Select "Other" from the Drop-Down Menu

On the next screen, fill in the additional information by selecting Other from the drop-down menu.

Click Next and answer any questions on the following screen. When prompted for Test Attempt Number, also select Other.

Describe Your Request in the Description Field
This is how FSC staff will know what type of exam session you need

After selecting Other for Test Attempt Number, a description field will appear. Use this field to clearly describe which type of testing session you are requesting:

Proctor an exam session at your laboratory or other entity
B
Sponsor or proctor a university student who is taking the exam
C
Proctor a university exam
⚠️ Be specific. This description alerts FSC staff to the nature of your request and helps ensure timely processing.

Sign the Attestation & Submit
Review and electronically sign before submitting

Review the attestation statement, sign electronically, and click Submit Application.

Don't navigate away yet! After submission, you'll land on a final confirmation screen where you need to upload a required document (Step 8).

Upload the Student Exam Administration Request Spreadsheet

On the final screen after submitting your application, upload a completed copy of the Student Exam Administration Request spreadsheet.

What happens next: FSC staff will contact you if additional information is needed. You will receive an email confirmation once your exam request application has been approved by the Commission.

You've completed all steps. Watch your email for a confirmation from the ALiS system once your request is approved by the Commission. FSC staff will reach out if anything additional is needed.
